After wowing the fashion crowd with a Naomi Campbell-inspired Jean Paul Gaultier gown, Bella Hadid once again turned heads at the Cannes Film Festival.
On July 11, the supermodel attended the red carpet for the premiere of Tre Piani (“Three Floors”) rocking a black Schiaparelli gown with a plunging neckline. In all black, the gown’s bold silhouette paired with the golden necklace that covered her breasts truly stole the show. In an Instagram post, the fashion house shared that the stunning necklace was made of gilded brass, in the shape of “trompe l’œil lungs adorned with rhinestones.”
The jewelry and its optical illusion element might have stolen the show but if you have a keen eye for detail, you’d have also noticed the piece left Bella’s teeny tiny underboob tattoo have a moment all its own. And that’s because the supermodel sports three simple dots under her breast.
While this particular tattoo doesn’t look brand new, it seems to be often overlooked in Bella’s ink collection. Recently, Bella showed off two shoulder tattoos, courtesy of celebrity tattoo artist Dr. Woo, which feature Arabic writing, an homage to her Palestinian roots, and translate to “I love you” and “my love.”
Longtime fans of Bella will also know she has a pair of wings as tiny ankle tattoos on her right leg, and a rosebud on the back of her arm, just above her elbow. In true Bella fashion, all of her tattoos are tiny, black ink, and minimalist — but, like her red carpet fashion, very chic.
