Dua Lipa Is Literally Levitating in These ’90s-Inspired 5-Inch Heels

Dua Lipa is all about bringing the trends of the late ‘90s and early 2000s back, and her latest ensemble has us levitating with inspiration.

The star, who is currently on vacation in Albania, showed off her outfit in an Instagram gallery, pairing a set of bright purple square-toed mules featuring a super high chunky heel alongside a black midi skirt with a high slit and a mesh long-sleeved crop top with ties that criss-crossed throughout her midriff. Dua accessorized her ensemble with a handful of rings, earrings, and a thick gold chain ankle bracelet, and kept her beauty look simple, pulling her hair half back and wearing minimal makeup. The look was definitely something we could imagine on the “popular girl” or “cool outsider bad girl” during a party scene in a ‘90s teen movie.

The shoes, of course, were the centerpiece of Dua’s style moment; their bold purple color and skyscraper heel were a fun touch against the glamorous and edgy black top and skirt, and she was literally levitating in them due to their height. The shoes in question are the Devon Heeled Mules from The Attico and feature a satin fabric and a five-inch heel, not to mention the square toe that was extremely trendy in the ‘90s. If you’re crushing on them too, they currently retail for $645 and are available from SSense.

The purple shoes aren’t the only throwback statement piece the musician has been rocking on her vacation. She also wore a baby blue patterned minidress with some very ‘90s-inspired pale blue eyeshadow, as well as a bodycon cutout minidress that we could imagine seeing on Christina Aguilera back in the day. Dua’s vacation ‘fits are truly “all that,” pun intended, and we can’t wait to see what she wears next.
