Lil Nas X Trolled Drake With New Version of Drake’s Album Cover

No one trolls like Lil Nas X trolls. The musician is an internet expert and his latest target is Drake, whose new album cover for Certified Lover Boy is practically designed for meme-making.

Drake’s album, which drops on September 3, features a cover of 12 pregnant emojis in a variety of different skin tones and hair colors; the cover was designed by famous artist Damien Hirst. The cover is certainly unique, and Lil Nas X couldn’t resist making his own version to promote his forthcoming album, MONTERO, which debuts a few weeks after Drake’s on September 17. In Lil Nas’s version, which he shared to Instagram, the emojis are pregnant men, including a few bald men, a redhead, and a couple with beards. Nas’s Insta followers thought the gag was hilarious, which it absolutely was. “The emoji we didn’t know we needed,” commented one. “You really the funniest dude on the internet,” commented another.

Drake hasn’t responded to Lil Nas’s expert trolling yet, but it’s not the only internet frenzy the rapper has created in the past week. As noted by Hypebeast, he created another meme with “nah he tweakin,” which swept social media almost instantly. The meme came about after Nas tweeted about skateboarder Tony Hawk’s line of boards infused with blood — and the disparity in reactions between Tony’s boards and Nas’s controversial Nike line. “Now that Tony Hawk has released skateboards with his blood painted on them, and there was no public outrage, are y’all ready to admit y’all were never actually upset over the blood in the shoes? And maybe u were mad for some other reason?” he tweeted at the time. He then commented on an Instagram post about the skateboards with the now-infamous “now he tweakin,” and internet meme history was made.

As the release date for Montero nears, we’re pretty sure Lil Nas X will be making even more internet history, and we can’t wait to see the memes he has up his sleeves.
