It’s official: the 2021 Met Gala is upon us, and fashion’s big night out has much in store this September. As you prepare to watch your favorite celebrities make the red carpet their own, find out how to live stream the 2021 Met Gala.
The Met Gala begins tonight (Sunday), September 13th with red carpet festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. ET in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s celebration was postponed from the original first Monday in May because of COVID-19, and the newly September showing has taken special caution with safety protocols. All guests are required to show proof they’re fully vaccinated, and they’ll also wear masks indoors when they’re not eating and drinking, People reported.
The 2021 theme is “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” so expect your faves to be inspired by American style. This year’s co-chairs are a fun group: Timothée Chalamet, poet Amanda Gorman, Billie Eilish, and Naomi Osaka. Plus, this year’s red carpet even has its own hosts: Keke Palmer and Ilana Glazer, who will be providing carpet commentary on the official live stream.
Luckily, there are several (free!) ways to enjoy the Met Gala carpet this year as a viewer. Find out how to live stream the 2021 Met Gala below.
